Born into a family of small tea growers in Golaghat, Assam, Iram grew up surrounded by the lush gardens and the women who tirelessly bring tea to life. She believes tea should be taken seriously, savoured slowly, like crafting or reading a beautiful story.
Iram founded Ojantrik to honour the unmechanical need and beauty of tea, and the people behind it. Her vision is to open a window to the solace and serenity of a tea garden in India’s bustling cities, creating a luxury tea culture that reconnects people to themselves.
